heels and lip gloss

My oh My, this is going to be one of those blogs that you wonder what in the world is going on in this girls head! Well, if you only knew!!!! Ha!

I was laying in bed on Monday night and my legs just ached and ached and I could not really figure out why. Truth is it felt like I had labour pains in my legs!!And since I am definitely NOT in labour, I was not too impressed!

So after some review of the days activities, I realized what the main problem was...
MY HIGH HEEL SHOES!!!!
And my response.......
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then of course I had to talk myself out of the idea that my shoes really affect my legs and feet... I mean really, they are just shoes! (sarcasm!)
So the solution to this problem.....Too put it simply....
I will have to live with the ache!

I mean really, if you are 5'8 , don't even pretend you understand my dilemma.
(........And if you are a man, Honestly I am truly surprised that you are
still reading this blog with the title 'heels and lipgloss'!)

There is something about a pair of high heels that straightens my back and pushes my shoulders back and makes me feel ........like I'm not short! Not all women need a pair of heels to pull them together, I understand that... neither do I (most days). But when I dress up to go to work, my heels come too! And when I go to church, so do my heels...!

Honestly though, I know I am talking like someone who is obsessed with shoes ... I'm not. I buy Greg more shoes than I buy myself. My friend Lynn however ... :) (hehe!) ... If I could pull of flats I would!
Hey, I did wear them when I could not put my heels on anymore at 9 months prego! (and hated every moment of it). I love the look of them on everyone else and the idea of flats is wonderful... BUT...

.... until I can no longer feel my legs, I will be like my friend Kimma... in heels with my lip gloss on!

  2. hahaha this is funny because I can relate too well! I know I was the same about wearing flats but being pregant there's almost no way out :p Im just sick of Springs heels being too big.. they dont make small enough for me Im size 5.5/6 and I always slide down in their 6 heels. Anyways, enjoy the pain of your heels :)
