oh what fun....

I am still on a kick of "remembering" the past year. I think it naturally happens as you come to the "official" start of a new year.

I can't believe a year a go I held a baby that was SO dependent on me and now I am lucky to keep her in my arms for longer than 3 min!!! (and that's exaggerated!!) Greg and I have watched this "gift from God", as we have called her from the beginning, start to smile, hold her head up, sit up in a bumbo chair, roll over, laugh, sit on her own, crawl, walk, and become such an amazing personality in just over a year.

How can people believe that life just happened?

Watching Makaela grow this year has just confirmed everything I knew about our amazing Creator... life is a MIRACLE and a gift and it all points back to HIM!

If I could even begin to tell you the JOY that comes to me as I think of the year that God has blessed us with... we would be here for hours. I am in love with Greg more today than a year ago (gag I know but it's the truth), I simply LOVE being a mother and everything that comes with it..., and I have seen God in SO many real ways this year and in turn have drawn closer to Him.

As I look forward to what this Christmas season will bring, I anticipate an amazing time with family, seeing friends I have not seen in what seems like forever, and to put it simple, just enjoying every moment!
Jesus came to die for ME! and He came for you too! May we all remember to celebrate the REAL meaning of Christmas!
