2010

Well, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I said I would be back in the new year and here I am ! I just got home from Ontario yesterday so this is the 1st real day of the new year!! SO much has happened over the past month.... but today is no day to talk about it.

I am sitting here in Lower Sackville asking God to give peace and comfort to my whole family, who are in Saint John, New Brunswick, celebrating the life of Grampie Little. Death is never easy. I ache thinking about how Tim must well up with tears in thankfulness to God for his parents. So many emotions with death, but besides the ache that they are gone, thankfulness that they were here also brings tears. I know how I feel just thinking about the path that Grampie has laid for us to follow! Praise the Lord we know we will see Grampie in Heaven.

I could not help but smile after the tears when we heard Grampie had gone home to be with the Lord. In my last post about Grampie, I said how he truly taught me to take EVERY day with Greg and cherish it. Grampie missed his wife SO much... and now... they are together again!!!!! That in itself makes me cry!

I bet the smile on his face was as bright as their wedding day!

So with this first post of 2010, I again thank the Lord for the honour of growing up in a Christian home, for blessing me with a Christian husband and for allowing us to follow in the path that has been set before us by some of the GREATEST men I know! I know Grampie is telling his beautiful wife all that has happened in Saint John since she went home :) (at least in my world he is!! :) )
Thank you Grampie for living a faithful life.
I love you! See you in
Heaven :)
Get that hug ready... and smile for me when I get there too!
